At LSPL, we’re one of the leaders in providing complete solutions for helium leak testing, leak detection, helium charging & recovery and gas mixing.
From automotive, EV, medium-voltage switchgear, CNG & hydrogen to aerospace and nuclear applications, we offer tailor-made, customised solutions for every need.
- Designing leak test machines since 2010
- Inside-out, outside-in, sniffer and accumulation methods
- Export enquiries welcome
Machines by application
Pick the part you need to test. Each machine is engineered for that component's size, leak-rate limit and production rate.

Medium-voltage switchgear, GIS & RMU tanks
Vacuum helium testing of large SF6 tanks, with automatic SF6 filling after the part passes.

Refrigeration & HVAC components
Coils, pipes, manifolds and compressor parts tested in a vacuum chamber, with optional helium recovery.
View details
Large aluminium castings
Vacuum chambers up to 2 m diameter and 15 m long for housings, blocks and structural castings.
View details
Automotive & EV parts
Battery packs, cooling plates, AC lines and fuel system parts on production lines.
View details
High-pressure CNG parts
Cylinder valves, regulators, high-pressure pipes and fittings tested with helium at working pressure.

Helium leak detectors
Mass spectrometer leak detectors for vacuum and sniffer testing, supplied, integrated and serviced.
View detailsThe right test method for the leak you need to find
We help you choose the method before we design the machine, so you don't pay for sensitivity you don't need.
Vacuum chamber (inside-out)
Part filled with helium inside an evacuated chamber. Helium leaking out is measured as one total leak rate for the whole part.
Outside-in
Part evacuated and connected to the detector while helium is applied outside it, by hood or spray. Suits parts that can't be pressurised.
Sniffer
A probe traces helium escaping from a pressurised part to find where the leak is, not just whether there is one.
Accumulation
Helium leaking from the pressurised part collects in an enclosed space and is measured after a set time.
What every machine includes
- Helium mass spectrometer leak detector from reputed makers such as Pfeiffer Vacuum, Leybold and Agilent, integrated and calibrated

Our customers

Common questions
What is a helium leak testing machine?
It is a test station that fills or surrounds a part with helium and uses a mass spectrometer leak detector to measure how much helium escapes. Because helium atoms are small, inert and rare in air, the method finds leaks far smaller than air or water tests can.
Do you build standard or custom machines?
Every LSPL machine is custom-built. We design the test method, chamber, fixtures and automation around your part, your leak-rate limit and your cycle time.
Can you reduce our helium consumption?
Yes. Our helium recovery systems collect helium after each test, cleans it and returns it to the machine, so most of the gas is reused instead of vented.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. We build machines in Pune for customers in India and abroad. Send us your requirement and we will quote with delivery and installation terms.
